HOSTING SETTINGS

 

Standard Shared Hosting - Linux

The Standard Web space we provide is basic HTML Web space on a Linux box running Apache. This does not support any server-side scripting (CGI, PHP, ASP), but will allow you to use client-side scripting, such as Javascript.

To connect to your webspace to upload your website we recommend either WS_FTP or FTPExplorer, we unfortunately do not support or recommend the use of Windows Explorer FTP due to compatiblity issues. Commons settings you will require are listed below:

Hostname: www.yourwebsiteaddress.co.uk

Username: web******

Password: supplied password

Remote Directory path: /websites/www.yourwebsiteaddress.co.uk

Please note: When you FTP into your webspace for the first time you will see a directory named " www.yourwebsiteaddress.co.uk " all files that are to be uploaded for the website are to be placed into this directory. If files are not uploaded into this directory then they will not be visible via a web browser. For further assistance please call our Support Desk or email support@izr.com

Standard Shared Hosting - CGI Web Forms

As our Standard Web Space does not support any server-side scripting (CGI, PHP, ASP) which is commonly used for webforms we have enabled the use of a CGI webform service. For configuration details please click here.

Please note: This web form service is provided totally without telephone support, all service queries are to be directed via email to support@izr.com. We will endeavour to provide as much support as possible however we are not a Web design company and therefore advise/support maybe limited.

PHP/CGI/MySQL Shared Hosting - Linux

For the more complex websites we do offer PHP/CGI/MySQL hosting on a seperate Linux based server. For further details please contact our Sales Department on 08707 488200. This webspace is enabled for PHP/CGI and has MySQL options (database hosting extra charge)

If you have purchased this option and require the creation a MySQL database please email support@izr.com (requests usually take 24hrs when received Mon-Fri 9-5)

Our CGI Webform service is also available with this option, details above.

Please note: izR reserve the right to disable any part or all of a website that is found to breaking rules set out in our Acceptable Use Policy or is service affecting without notice.

ASP/.NET/ODBC Shared Hosting - Windows 2003

We also offer shared hosting for ASP/.NET and ODBC websites on our Windows 2003 server. For further details please contact our Sales Department on 08707 488200.
